meow

(cardigan + scarf: cotton on, tee: swap party, jeans: lee, flats: rubi, rings: JWLRY)

This is what I wore last Sunday, when I went to watch Scott play soccer. It was such a beautiful day, I couldnt help but add some fun colour to my outfit. After soccer we dropped by my mums place for a visit and to take some photos.

Mary was not in the mood.

Tomorrow is the last day of school before a two week break! Woo-hoo! So excited! My plans for the holidays? Clean up our house for one.... Its been quite neglected since I started writing reports about 4-5 weeks ago (whoops), and also pack for our Greece/Malta trip! We fly out in 4 weeks !!

Hope you all have a fabulous Friday and a great weekend xx

winter sun

I've been a pretty slack wife of late. Soccer season started back in April and I had yet to go and watch Scott play until this past Sunday. As much as I would of loved to watch him play (I do enjoy watching the game) I always had things to prepare for work, which I would always leave till Sunday. Since we are in the final week of school before the holidays, and I didnt have much planning to do for this week, I went with Scott to watch him play. The sun shone beautifully all afternoon. It was the perfect way to spend my Sunday. If the weather is as beuatiful in the Sundays to come, I'll be sure to spend my afternoons watching hubby play. Do you play or watch any sports?

catch up

(boots: rubi, skirt: unknown, top: supre, necklace: gifted, bag: forever new)

Last Saturday we arranged a catch-up lunch date for all of my close girlfriends and our partners. The day turned out to be beautiful. We chose to have lunch at Hogs Breath, Cronulla. I've never wanted to go to Hogs Breath up until recently because the t.v ads in my opinion are just plain stupid and have nothing to do with what they are advertising. We ended up there one night for dinner by accident and I was pleasantly suprised with their service, food and prices.

Scott took these photos on the way back to our car just outside a random home. My outfit isnt too exciting either - nothing new (although I did receive the necklace for my birthday from one of my students recently). How did you spend your weekend? Hope the weather was as nice for you as it was for us!

from paris with love

We had a bit of a sleep-over at our friends place last weekend, and this is what I packed to wear the next day. One of my favourite knits - I adore this sweater so much.... not as much though as I love my red vintage suitacase that I use as an overnight bag.... It fits just enough things when I'm away from home for a few nights.

Do you guys still do "sleep-overs". Its such a childish thing - but even now - married and in our mid twenties - we are still up for it! Pizza, wine, boardgames and movies till the wee hours of the morning - who couldn't resist that?

I have been so very slack with outfit posts. This is the first one this month and its already the 25th of June. I'm hoping this weekend - we will have the chance to take some photos so I can share a few more outfits before the month has ended.

This month has been ridiculiously stressful for me. I've had to write reports for the first time at work - and it seems like I have been working on them for months, though in reality its only been about 3 weeks. We have one more week of school left until the holidays and I cannot describe in words how very much I am looking forward to it!

Now onto the weekend.... anything special planned my blogger buddies?

hearts

Couldn't help but show you my newest and most-loved stockings. So in love with these - I had been looking for a reasonably priced pair of heart patterned ones for some time now and came across a store that was selling two pairs for $20. Score! Unfortunatley though - Scott has now banned me from buying any more hosiery. Apparently a draw filled with them is too much.

vivid festival

Any Sydney-siders get a chance to check out the Vivid Festival this year? What did you guys think of it? I thought it was pretty cool - there were lots lots of different light displays - some of which were interactive which was fun too. The best I think was the Opera House - loved the light display they projected on it - I would of sat there and watched it for an hour, had the weather not been so glum!

Even though its the middle of winter - we still couldn't resist a good old thickshake from Baskin-Robinns. Yum yum.

stelio & irene

You may already know this .... but I LOVE weddings. Everything about weddings is just awesome. There is just a special kind of joy you feel at a wedding. Since getting married last August, this was the first wedding we had been to. Irene glowed - just like all brides do. She looked beautiful and totally at peace. Stelio much the same - at peace and madly in love.

birthday hunt

Ok, so I promise this is going to my the last birthday-related post this year (it has been three weeks since the actual day!). But I just couldnt resist sharing this with you all. How sweet is this right - after work, Scott sent me on a little hunt through the house to find my pressies. He had scattered little love notes throughout the house with clues to help me locate the hidden gifts. What a treat!

pre-birthday

I know its been a over week past my birthday but I've still go some things I would like to share. We went to my parents for dinner the night before my birthday and how cute is this right - they took us out bowling. I don't remember going bowling with my parents since primary school. And because it was on a Wednesday night, the only other people there were professionals..... embarassment much?

Mum made me a birthday cake too - thanks Mum!

best gift of all

No words can express the joy I felt when I received a bicycle for my birthday from my darling hubby. He had made me believe that as much as I wanted a bicycle for my birthday, there just hadent been any time to go looking for the right one and so we would have to buy on after my birthday had passed. I was beside myself when I walked into my mother-in-laws office to pick up some resources for work to see an absolutely gorgeous retro style white bicycle, just the perfect height, with a bell, and a basket - exactly what I wishing for! Scott you are amazing!

(seeing the bicycle for the first time)
