sunday afternoon

So what did you get up to this sunday afternoon? I've recently begun watching Scott play soccer of a sunday afternoon. Its a nice way to relax, especially when the weather is good. And to be honest, I didnt really think I would enjoy watching Scott play soccer initially (I've attempted to watch him play cricket in the past - hard to keep my eyes open!) ... but soccer has really grown on me. I really enjoy sunday afternoons watching Scott and the other boys play soccer ! 

vintage cameo

Scott bought me this divine vintage cameo necklace for my 24th birthday. It has a pin on the back so you can take the chain off and wear it as a brooch too! Isn't it just divine? How thoughtful of him, to go and source out an authentic vintage cameo necklace just for me. I love it, and I most certainly love him.

getting old

So tonight is my last night as an early-twenties person. Tomorrow I will officially be in my mid-twenties. No escaping it. Am I meant to look different? What do mid-twenties people look like? Am I meant to think differently? What do mid-twenties people think about? Now I am just confused. Oh the joys of getting older!

second fitting

Ok. So today Nicole (my lovely maid of honour) and I went to my second wedding dress fitting. The first didn't go all that well. I wasn't sure if the dress was right, the lady who fitted me wasn't very helpful and no-one was able to come with me for support.

Today was a whole different story. I absolutely LOVE my wedding dress. I had no idea what a difference having someone close to you being there would make. Thank you so much Nicole. We decided to have a few adjustments made - nothing major.

I can't wait to take it home and wear it! Only 88 days to go till our wedding.

Scott and I are having an engagement photo shoot this Saturday afternoon in Wollongong, and I simply can't wait. My gosh, I love him so much. The lovely Evan & Julliette of Createv Photography will be doing our engagement shoot and the photos on the day of our wedding too.

second thoughts...

I'm having second thoughts about my wedding dress. And while a few days ago I thought I had everything under control, today is another story. I went for my first wedding dress fitting yesterday. I had to go alone, as mum was overseas and my maid of honour was at work. The dress was beautiful, exactly what I had choosen. I was happy. Then I went home, and I started thinking "Maybe, its the wrong dress. Maybe it doesnt do me any favours. What will people think?"

The stresses of getting married and planning a wedding have finally caught up to me.
